- It's not about me, it's about Him! I love Him because He first loved me. I was 48 when I heard a message that explained the Gospel in a way that I had never heard before. That we are sinners and by that I mean, we lie, steal, cheat, dishonor God, dishonor our parents, and many more. I found out that the wrath of God abides on us and the more we sin the more wrath is stored up. I found out that just committing one sin separates us from God and we are doomed to an eternal punishment because we have sinned against an eternal God...but Jesus! took our punishment, he died on a cruel Roman cross taking upon himself the wrath that God had for me and paying my dept. He became sin who knew no sin. He spent three days in the grave, but death could not hold Him and he rose from the grave and ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father making intersession for us, but that's not all, He (Jesus) gave me His righteousness, because I was incapable of having righteousness of my own. I repented (turned from my sin) and I trust Jesus for my salvation. We can't earn salvation by works. We can't be good enough to earn salvation. It is a free gift from God. Repent and believe!
